Acupuncture
What is acupuncture and how does it help?
Acupuncture is a medical modality that has been used for thousands of years. Sterile, hair-thin needles are placed along the skin to create a favorable physiological change in the body. Acupuncture needles are situated along meridians that correspond to the entire body. These meridians help facilitate the flow of qi or energy throughout the body. Acupuncture needles placed along the skin help circulate nutrients and bio-chemicals that reduce pain and improve overall health.
